Wasting no time after the party released its candidate list, Maitra officially launched his election campaign on Tuesday morning, marking the beginning of what is expected to be a closely contested political battle in the region.
The campaign commenced on a traditional note, with Maitra offering prayers at a Hanuman temple located near Mohan Cinema More in Berhampore.
