Happy World's Teacher Day- 5th September celebrated in this occasion
IIE Digital Desk: World Teacher Day is celebrated on 5th September to the contributions of teachers to society. It's a day to appreciated the hard work and dedication of teachers who played a vital role in shaping the future of our children. The theme for the World Teacher's Day is " Empowering Educators: Strenghtening Resilience,Building Sustainability. In these challenging times, teacher's had emerged as illumiants of resilience, adapting and innovating for their students.
World Teacher's Day had marked the anniversary adoption of the 1966 ILO/ UNESCO Reccomendation concerning the status of teachers (news have been taken oliveboard). The signifricant recommendation sets essential benchmarks regarding the rights aqnd responsibilities of teachers, as well as standards for theirinitial training and ongoing education, engaging, employment conditions, and teaching or learning environments (news have been :oliveboard).. Radhakrishnan believed that "teachers should be the best minds in the country". Since 1962, his birthday has been celebrated in India as Teachers' Day on 5 September every year.World's Teachers Day is a special occasion to celebrate the transformative impact and the teachers have education. However it's a day to reflect on the support that teachers had required to fully utilize their talents and fulfilling calling. It serves an opportunity to reconsidered the path forward for the teachings professional on a global scale.
This important day is co-convened in partnership with organizations such as the International Labour Organization (ILO), UNICEF, and Education International (EI), highlighting the collaborative effort to recognize and support teachers worldwide. Together, they work towards creating a brighter and more sustainable future through education.
