New Delhi, (June 24, 2023): India's opposition parties have agreed to unite against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming 2024 general elections. The decision was made at a meeting of the opposition parties in New Delhi on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by leaders of the Congress Party, the Trinamool Congress, the Samajwadi Party, the Rashtriya Janata Dal, and other opposition parties.

The opposition parties have said that they will form a "grand alliance" to defeat Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). They have also said that they will focus on issues such as inflation, unemployment, and farmer distress.

The decision to unite against Modi is a significant development in Indian politics. The BJP has been in power for the past eight years, and it is facing a strong challenge from the opposition in the upcoming elections.

The opposition parties are hoping that by uniting, they will be able to defeat the BJP and form the next government. However, it remains to be seen whether they will be able to overcome their differences and work together effectively.
