Kolkata Police to Deploy Special Force to Manage Traffic on July 21
Kolkata (July 15,2023) : Kolkata Police will deploy a special force to manage traffic on July 21, the day of the Martyrs' Day rally. The force will be responsible for ensuring smooth flow of traffic and preventing traffic jams. The force will consist of 500 personnel, including traffic police, armed police, and civic volunteers. They will be deployed at key intersections and choke points across the city.
The police have also urged citizens to avoid using their vehicles on July 21 and to instead use public transport or walk. They have also asked citizens to cooperate with the police and follow traffic rules.
