IIE DIGITAL DESK : Motorola has joined forces with Swarovski to unveil a limited‑edition luxury bundle named The Brilliant Collection, featuring crystal‑embellished versions of the Razr 60 foldable phone and Moto Buds Loop earbuds, both finished in a striking PANTONE Ice Melt tone .

The highlight of this collection is the special‑edition Motorola Razr 60, dressed in a quilted leather‑inspired back panel adorned with 35 hand‑positioned Swarovski crystals, including one large 26‑facet crystal strategically placed on the hinge for dramatic flair. Even the volume keys carry crystal-inspired detailing, elevating the foldable into a high‑fashion accessory . Customers also receive a matching transparent cross‑body case designed to showcase the device’s glam aesthetic .

Priced as a package, the bundle carries a premium tag of $999 (~₹87,000) in the U.S., compared to the standard Razr 60’s standalone price of about $599 (~₹50,000 in India) . All hardware specifications mirror the regular Razr 60: a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset, 8 GB RAM, dual rear cameras (50 MP main + 13 MP ultrawide), a 32 MP selfie camera, 4,500 mAh battery, a 6.9″ pOLED internal display, and a 3.6″ cover display with Gemini AI features like Catch Me Up and Pay Attention .

Complementing the phone are the Moto Buds Loop earbuds, now rendered in the same Ice Melt palette and accented with Swarovski crystals along their looped stems .These open‑ear earbuds, tuned by Bose, offer spatial audio support, up to 37 hours of playback (with charging case), and an open design that keeps users aware of ambient sound—ideal for daily commuters .

The Moto Buds Loop provide premium audio with built-in CrystalTalk AI for enhanced call clarity and support Motorola-exclusive features like spatial sound and AI‑powered noise cancellation—though these features work best when paired with Motorola devices .

This launch also marks the debut of Motorola Collections, a new curated product line where technology meets fashion through themed bundles and high-end collaborations. The Brilliant Collection is the first in this line, with limited stock and possible future releases teased by the company .

The bundle will roll out globally starting August 7, with availability through Motorola’s website and select retail partners like Best Buy, Amazon, and Cricket Wireless in the U.S.; European and other regional pricing has not yet been disclosed. In India, while the standard Razr 60 remains priced at ₹49,999 (~$600), specific pricing for this Swarovski‑adorned edition is currently unavailable .

The Brilliant Collection blends Motorola’s foldable Razr and open‑ear Buds Loop into a fashion statement backed by Swarovski’s premium craftsmanship. While specs remain identical to standard models, the unique styling and collector‑style packaging cater to tech enthusiasts who see their devices as both gadgets and jewellery. The initiative also signals Motorola’s ambition to carve out a niche at the intersection of luxury and tech with its new curated “Collections” strategy .
