IIE  DIGITAL DESK ;  June 16: Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Turbo 5 in India, marking the debut of the Turbo series in the country. The smartphone comes with flagship-grade specifications and is positioned as a performance-focused device for gaming and heavy usage.

The Redmi Turbo 5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor and features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is designed to deliver smooth performance, high brightness output, and efficient power management for daily and intensive tasks. 

One of the biggest highlights of the smartphone is its massive 7,540mAh battery, which supports 100W fast charging, making it one of the most battery-efficient phones in its segment. The device also includes a 50MP Sony primary camera and runs on Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 3 based on Android. 

The phone is expected to come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, along with advanced cooling technology for sustained gaming performance. Xiaomi has also confirmed long-term software support with multiple years of Android and security updates.

The Redmi Turbo 5 has been launched in India via Amazon and Xiaomi’s official online channels, with availability expected to expand soon across offline markets as well. The company is targeting users who want high-end performance at a competitive mid-range price point.
