IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Arambag, May 19: The birth anniversary of Raja Ram Mohan Roy, one of the pioneers of India’s socio-cultural renaissance, a preparatory meeting was held on Tuesday at the Ram Mohan-1 Gram Panchayat office. The meeting was organized to ensure that the celebrations on Wednesday, May 22, honoring the legendary social reformer, are conducted with due dignity and grandeur.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Gram Panchayat, the Joint Block Development Officer of Khanakul 1 Block, BJP MLA Biman Ghosh of Pursura Assembly constituency, along with several eminent personalities and community leaders from the region. Discussions during the meeting focused on the planning and organization of various cultural programs, discussion forums, and tribute offerings to mark the occasion. Administrative and logistical measures were deliberated upon to ensure smooth execution of the planned events.
