Bhangar (July 14,2023) : ISF MLA Naushad Siddiqui was allegedly stopped by police on his way to Bhangar in West Bengal on Friday. Siddiqui, who is the MLA for the Bhangar constituency, was reportedly on his way to meet with local residents when he was stopped by the police. The police have not released any information about why Siddiqui was stopped, but it is believed that the incident may be related to the upcoming panchayat elections in West Bengal. The panchayat elections are scheduled to be held in May 2023, and there has been a lot of political tension in the state in the lead-up to the elections.

Siddiqui is a member of the Indian Secular Front (ISF), a political party that was formed in 2021. The ISF is a relatively new party, but it has quickly gained popularity in West Bengal. The party is led by Maulana Abbas Siddiqui, who is the father of Naushad Siddiqui. The alleged stopping of Naushad Siddiqui by the police is a significant development in the lead-up to the panchayat elections in West Bengal. The incident is likely to raise concerns about the fairness of the elections, and it could also lead to further political tension in the state.
