Mamata Banerjee to Undergo Leg Surgery on Thursday
Kolkata (July 06,2023) : West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is likely to undergo a leg surgery on Thursday, after she injured herself while attending a public event in Nandigram a few days ago. Banerjee was rushed to a hospital in Kolkata after she injured her leg while climbing a staircase at a temple in Nandigram. She was diagnosed with a hairline fracture in her leg and was advised to undergo surgery.
The surgery is scheduled to be performed at a private hospital in Kolkata on Thursday. Banerjee is expected to be discharged from the hospital in a few days.
