Belgachia, Kolkata (July 11,2023) : The new Belgachia Veterinary Hospital, which was inaugurated in May 2023, is still not providing 24-hour service. This has caused frustration among pet owners who have to take their animals to other hospitals in the middle of the night.
The hospital authorities have said that they are still waiting for the necessary infrastructure to be in place before they can start 24-hour service. They have also said that they are facing a shortage of staff.
The delay in starting 24-hour service at the Belgachia Veterinary Hospital is a major setback for animal lovers in Kolkata. The hospital was supposed to provide state-of-the-art care for animals, but it is currently unable to do so.
