IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Washington, June 16: US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran will not possess any nuclear weapons in the future. Taking to his social media platform Truth Social, Trump asserted that Iran has agreed to never develop or hold nuclear weapons.
Trump further stated that Iran has accepted this position as part of a peace understanding and emphasized that the United States is not providing any financial assistance to Iran under any such agreement.
The US President also dismissed reports circulating about Washington allegedly providing Iran with $300 billion, calling them false. He alleged that such claims are being spread by his political opponents in the Democratic Party to mislead public opinion.
Trump reiterated his claim that Iran has agreed not to keep or develop nuclear weapons, presenting it as a significant diplomatic development in ongoing global discussions on nuclear non-proliferation.
