IIE Digital Desk : The first batch of hilsa fish for the season has arrived at Diamond Harbor's Nagendra Market, marking the beginning of a much-anticipated time for fish lovers. Fishermen resumed their activities on June 15 after a two-month hiatus, bringing in about 3,000 kilograms of hilsa, sold at ₹1400 per kilogram. The fish are notably larger this season, giving hope for a fruitful catch in the coming months. This initial influx has brought excitement among both sellers and buyers.
