IIE DIGITAL DESK ;  May 30: Vivo has officially launched its new Vivo S60 smartphone in China, introducing a powerful mid-range device featuring a massive battery, high-refresh-rate display, and flagship-level performance. The launch also includes the Vivo S60 Vitality Edition, which shares several core specifications with slight differences in camera and chipset configuration.

The Vivo S60 comes with a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display offering a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and enhanced gaming performance. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, running on Android 16-based OriginOS 6.

The device features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with up to 100x digital zoom. On the front, it houses a 50-megapixel selfie camera designed for high-quality video calls and selfies.

One of the major highlights of the Vivo S60 is its 7,200mAh battery, which supports 90W fast charging via USB Type-C. The phone also includes advanced connectivity options such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.

The Vivo S60 Vitality Edition carries a similar design and display but is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 processor and drops the periscope telephoto lens, while retaining the same battery capacity and fast charging support.

The smartphone series is available in multiple colour options including Early Summer Green, Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Sea of Stars. It is expected to go on sale soon via Vivo’s official online channels in China.
