IIE DIGITAL DESK : Oppo is reportedly gearing up to launch its upcoming budget smartphone, the Oppo A6c, in India, with new leaks revealing its expected pricing and key variants ahead of the official announcement.

The Oppo A6c could be priced starting at around ₹13,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, while the higher 4GB RAM + 128GB model may be priced at approximately ₹16,999. The smartphone is expected to target the offline retail segment in India, making it a key offering in the budget 4G smartphone category.

The leak suggests that the Oppo A6c will continue the brand’s focus on long battery life and balanced performance in the entry-level segment. It is expected to feature a large battery unit, smooth display experience, and basic everyday performance capabilities suitable for mainstream users.

The device has already been introduced in China and is expected to carry similar specifications in India, including a large 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a budget-focused processor, and a massive battery of around 6,500mAh. The phone is also likely to include a dual-camera setup and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Market observers note that the Oppo A6c will compete in the highly crowded budget smartphone segment in India, where brands like Redmi, Realme, Samsung, and Motorola continue to dominate with aggressive pricing and frequent launches.

However, Oppo has not officially confirmed the India pricing or launch date yet, and all details currently remain based on leaks and early retail reports. More clarity is expected once the company formally announces the device in the Indian market.
