IIE Digital Desk : iQOO has officially launched two new smartphones in India — the iQOO Z10 5G and Z10x 5G — targeting the mid-range market with impressive hardware features, including a massive 7,300mAh battery and a high-resolution 50MP primary camera. The launch is seen as a bold move to shake up the battery-life and performance game in the segment.
Both the iQOO Z10 5G and Z10x 5G are designed with power users in mind. The highlight feature is the enormous 7,300mAh battery, making these devices among the highest-capacity battery smartphones available in the Indian market. Coupled with 90W fast charging, users can expect all-day battery life and quick top-ups — ideal for gaming, media consumption, and multitasking on the go.
Under the hood, the Z10 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, a capable mid-range chipset that promises smooth performance and efficient multitasking. It comes in multiple configurations with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage.
On the camera front, the iQOO Z10 5G sports a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), allowing for sharp and stable photos even in low light. Accompanying the main sensor is a 2MP auxiliary lens. For selfies, a 32MP front camera is housed in a punch-hole cutout on the front.
The phone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth and vibrant viewing experience. The quad-curved edges and thin bezels give it a premium feel, despite its large battery. The device maintains a slim 8.1mm profile and weighs 195g, which is commendable given the massive battery inside.
The iQOO Z10 5G runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, bringing a clean interface and updated features. Additional highlights include an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience.
While official pricing will be confirmed at the time of sale, sources suggest that the iQOO Z10 5G will be priced between ₹20,000 and ₹30,000, making it a competitive offering in its segment. The Z10x 5G is expected to come with slightly toned-down specs and a more affordable price tag. Both devices will be available via online retailers and iQOO’s official sales channels.
With the launch of the Z10 5G and Z10x 5G, iQOO is aiming to carve a stronger foothold in India’s competitive smartphone market. By combining long-lasting battery life, capable performance, and premium features, these devices are poised to attract a broad audience looking for reliable, feature-packed smartphones under ₹30,000.
