IIE DIGITAL DESK : The upcoming iQOO 15T smartphone has surfaced through a China Telecom certification listing, offering early insights into its design direction, performance focus, and expected specifications. The device is shaping up to be a gaming-centric flagship aimed at delivering high-end performance and advanced hardware capabilities.
The listing and multiple leaks, the iQOO 15T is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, positioning it among the next generation of performance-driven smartphones. The device is also likely to feature a dedicated gaming-focused architecture, including an enhanced gaming chip that works alongside the main processor to improve graphics performance and reduce latency during intensive gaming sessions.
The smartphone is tipped to sport a large 6.8-inch class 2K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, designed to deliver smooth visuals and responsive gameplay. This high-resolution, high-refresh-rate panel further reinforces its positioning as a gaming flagship, targeting users who demand fluid animations and competitive gaming performance.
On the camera front, the iQOO 15T is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor, paired with a secondary ultra-wide lens. This setup suggests a strong emphasis on high-detail photography alongside its gaming capabilities, making it a more balanced flagship device.
Battery performance is another major highlight, with reports indicating an enormous 8000mAh battery paired with 100W fast charging support. This combination is expected to offer extended gaming sessions and rapid recharge times, addressing one of the key demands of mobile gamers.
The phone may include premium build elements such as a metal frame, flat-edge design, and advanced cooling solutions to sustain performance during long gaming sessions. The device is also expected to run Android 16-based software with iQOO’s custom interface optimised for gaming and performance tuning.
While iQOO has not officially confirmed all specifications, the China Telecom listing strongly indicates that the iQOO 15T is nearing launch in China. The smartphone is expected to be part of iQOO’s continued push into the high-performance gaming segment, competing directly with other flagship devices in the market.
