IIE Digital Desk : In a heartbreaking incident in Madhya Pradesh, a two-year-old boy tragically died after falling into a borewell and being trapped for 17 hours. The toddler, named Rohan, fell into the uncovered borewell while playing near his home in the Sehore district. Despite relentless rescue efforts by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), local authorities, and villagers, the child could not be saved. The rescue operation faced significant challenges due to the narrowness and depth of the borewell, which was about 300 feet deep.

The rescuers worked tirelessly, using various equipment to reach the child, but the difficult conditions severely hampered their efforts. After hours of intense labor, they finally managed to retrieve Rohan, but unfortunately, he was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
