Naveen Patnaik Responds to MP's Exit by Establishing New Panel for Upset the BJD Leaders

IIE Digital Desk: Following an unexpected exit by a prominent MP, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik have an initiative in a new panel which is aimed at addressing offenced within the Biju Janata Dal (BJD). This move seeks to be provided a platform for discontented leaders to voice their concerns and enhanced an internal party solidarity. The committee were announced on Monday with senior party leader and formed to MLA Debi Prasad Mishra and leaders are former organisational secretary Pranab Prakhas and there are some other members of Rajya Sabha are Manas Mangaraj and will be seen as an influential before 2024 assembly polls and which is not in the committee.

If their concerns will not be addressed and no course correction measures will be taken, there is no doubt that they will move towards BJP,” said a senior BJD leader. “Activating the party will not just help to keep the flock together but it will also help to remain connected with our workers at the grassroots.”
