University Campus to Get a Green Makeover
Kolkata (July 24,2023) : Teachers at West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences have adopted 100 saplings to green the campus. The saplings were planted on the university campus on Monday. The teachers adopted the saplings under the university's "Green Campus" initiative. The initiative aims to make the university campus more green and sustainable.
The saplings were planted in different parts of the university campus. The teachers also pledged to take care of the saplings and to water them regularly. The university's Vice-Chancellor, Dr. G.D. Sharma, said that the "Green Campus" initiative is a step towards making the university campus more environmentally friendly. He said that the university is committed to promoting sustainable practices.
