Kolkata (July 24,2023) : Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Kunal Ghosh on Monday slammed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) West Bengal state president Sukanta Majumdar for his "anti-national" remarks. Ghosh was responding to Majumdar's statement that TMC chief Mamata Banerjee had "collaborated" with Pakistan in the aftermath of the Pulwama terror attack.

"Sukanta Majumdar is a disgrace to the BJP and to India," Ghosh said. "His remarks are not only false but also deeply offensive. He should be ashamed of himself." Ghosh said that Majumdar's remarks were "part of a larger BJP conspiracy to defame the TMC and Mamata Banerjee". "The BJP is resorting to these dirty tactics because it knows that it is losing ground in West Bengal," Ghosh said.
