Sourav Sikdar, a BJP MLA and former Trinamool Congress leaders, has been appointed as the new secretary of the club, while Aroop Biswas and Swarup Biswer have been removed from the committee in resignation.

It is a significant breakthrough for one of Kolkata's most well-known Durgal Puja coordinators. The Biswas brothers were closely connected to Suruchi Sangha for an extended period and played a crucial role in shaping the puja's identity and growth.
