Abhishek Banerjee Meets Injured TMC Workers in Nandigram
Kolkata (July 15,2023) : TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee on Friday met with injured TMC workers at the SSKM Hospital in Kolkata. The workers were injured in clashes with BJP supporters in Nandigram on Thursday.
Banerjee visited the hospital along with TMC state general secretary Kunal Ghosh. He met with the injured workers and spoke to them about their well-being. He also assured them that the party would provide them with all necessary medical treatment.
Banerjee condemned the attack on the TMC workers and said that it was a clear attempt to intimidate them. He said that the BJP was resorting to violence because it was afraid of losing the upcoming panchayat elections. The TMC leader also said that the party would not be cowed down by the BJP's violence. He said that the TMC would continue to fight for the rights of the people of Nandigram.
