History and Significance:

Sawan is considered the holiest month dedicated to Lord Shiva. This event is commemorated in Sawan, and devotees observe fasts and offer prayers to seek his blessings.

Subh Muhurat and Puja.

Performing rituals during the Sawan month is believed to be highly auspicious. Devotees begin their day with a bath, followed by a visit to the Shiva temple. Offerings such as water, milk, bel leaves, and flowers are made to the Shivalinga. Chanting of mantras like "Om Namah Shivaya" and performing Rudra Abhishek are integral parts of the worship. The subh muhurat for these rituals is usually in the early morning hours.

The reverence for Sawan lies in its power to purify, bringing peace, prosperity, and divine grace to devotees who diligently observe the rituals and fasts.
