Tollywood Director Srijit Mukherji Under the Weather, Postpones Outdoor Shoot

IIE Digital Desk : Popular Tollywood director Srijit Mukherji is unwell and has had to postpone the outdoor shoot of his upcoming film, "Dashavatar". The shoot was scheduled to take place in North Bengal today, but Mukherji was advised by doctors to rest at home. Mukherji is said to be suffering from a high fever and body ache. He is currently under medication and is expected to make a full recovery soon. The shoot of "Dashavatar" will resume once Mukherji is feeling better.

"Dashavatar" is a historical drama based on the ten incarnations of Vishnu. The film stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jisshu Sengupta, and Arpita Chatterjee in the lead roles. It is scheduled to be released in theaters in early 2024.

This is not the first time that Mukherji has had to postpone a shoot due to illness. In 2021, he was diagnosed with dengue and had to cancel the shoot of his film, "Begum Jaan". Mukherji is one of the most successful directors in Tollywood. He has directed several critically acclaimed films, including "Chotushkone", "Rajkahini", and "Uma". He is also a popular actor and has starred in several films, including "Bela Seshe" and "Kahaani". Mukherji's fans are wishing him a speedy recovery. They are also eagerly awaiting the release of "Dashavatar".
