With three lions reportedly standing just 100 metres away, the actor went down on one knee in the African wilderness and asked Alia to marry him. Recalling the extraordinary moment, Ranbir joked that while Alia was his ‘lioness’, he felt like a little mouse in front of her.

The couple's love story began in 2018 on the sets of Ayan Mukerji's film Brahmastra.
