TMC Youth Leader Sayani Ghosh's Lawyer Appears in ED Office, But Her Presence Not Confirmed
Burdawan (July 05,2023) : TMC youth leader Sayani Ghosh's lawyer appeared in the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Kolkata on Wednesday, but her presence was not confirmed. Ghosh was summoned by the ED to appear for questioning in connection with an investigation into alleged financial irregularities. However, she did not appear in person, and her lawyer said that she was unable to do so due to prior commitments.
The ED is probing allegations that Ghosh received illegal funds from a shell company during the 2021 West Bengal assembly elections. Ghosh has denied the allegations.
