Despite promises of resolution within 15 days, retirees are struggling financially, with some unable to afford essential expenses. The factory has been non-operational since 2019 due to pollution and safety issues, with no new hires and ongoing disputes over PF payments. Political leaders from BJP and TMC have weighed in, blaming each other for the workers' plight.
