North Bengal to Get 16 Stations Under Amrit Bharat Project

Uttarbanga (August 03,2023) : North Bengal is set to get 16 stations under the Amrit Bharat Project, a government initiative to improve railway infrastructure across the country. The stations, which are located in Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar, and Alipurduar districts, will be upgraded to modern standards. The work on the stations is expected to be completed in the next two years.

The Amrit Bharat Project is a part of the government's larger plan to develop railway infrastructure in the country. The project aims to improve passenger amenities and safety at railway stations.
