Panshkura (August 29,2023) : The mother of a young man who died in a firecracker factory blast in West Bengal's Panskura district has urged people to stop working in such factories. The woman, identified as Malati Haldar, said that her son, 22-year-old Suman Haldar, was killed in the blast on August 24. He was one of 11 people who died in the accident.

Malati said that she was devastated by her son's death and that she did not want any other family to go through the same pain. She urged people to stop working in firecracker factories, which are often unsafe. "I lost my son in the blast. I don't want any other mother to go through the same pain," she said. "Please stop working in firecracker factories. They are not safe." The firecracker factory where Suman worked was located in a residential area. The blast caused widespread damage and also injured several people.

The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. They have also arrested the owner of the factory. The incident has highlighted the dangers of working in firecracker factories. There have been several such accidents in recent years, claiming many lives. Malati's appeal is a reminder of the need to take steps to make firecracker factories safer. The government should also crack down on illegal firecracker factories.
