CPM to Listen to People's Panchayat Election Experiences Door-to-Door
West Bengal (July 27,2023) : The Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) in West Bengal has announced that it will go door-to-door to listen to the experiences of people who participated in the recently concluded panchayat elections. The party said that it wants to hear from people about the problems they faced during the elections, as well as their suggestions for how the panchayat system can be improved.
The CPM's door-to-door campaign will be launched on July 28 and will continue for a week. The party's leaders and workers will visit every household in the state and speak to people about their experiences. The CPM said that it is committed to making the panchayat system more democratic and responsive to the needs of the people. The party believes that the door-to-door campaign will help it to better understand the problems that people are facing and to develop solutions.
