IIE DIGITAL DESK : Oppo has officially unveiled its much-anticipated Reno 14 series in India, offering both the Reno 14 5G and its high-end sibling, the Reno 14 Pro 5G. The smartphones, aimed at content creators and photography enthusiasts, were revealed in New Delhi today, July 3, during a live-streamed event by Oppo India at 12 PM IST .
The Reno 14 Pro features a premium 6.83‑inch LTPS OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling, and durable Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, showcasing peak brilliance at 1 200 nits .The standard Reno 14 offers a slightly smaller 6.59‑inch OLED screen, yet maintains the same 1.5K 120 Hz specifications .
Under the hood, the Pro model is powered by the advanced MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor, while the base variant gets the Dimensity 8350 chipset. Both versions support up to 16 GB RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 3.1 storage, running on Oppo’s new ColorOS 15 over Android 15, which includes AI features like AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, and LivePhoto 2.0 .
