IIE DIGITAL DESK : The upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ has started revealing key design and camera details ahead of its official launch in India, with fresh leaks and teaser updates confirming its premium build, colour options, and imaging capabilities. The smartphone is expected to be part of the Edge 70 series and will sit above the standard Edge 70 Pro model in the lineup.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will feature a triple rear camera setup housed inside a square-shaped camera module with rounded edges. The camera system is expected to be headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Sony LYTIA branding, along with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. One of the standout features includes an 81mm focal length lens, suggesting the presence of a dedicated telephoto or portrait camera aimed at improved zoom and depth photography performance.

The device is also expected to focus heavily on portrait photography enhancements, with Motorola highlighting improved depth effects and professional-style imaging outputs in its teaser campaign. Early information suggests that the phone may support up to 50x digital zoom through software enhancement features, further strengthening its photography credentials.

The design front, the Edge 70 Pro+ will continue Motorola’s recent premium design language with a curved rear panel and a metal frame structure. The front is expected to feature a centred hole-punch display for the selfie camera, maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic. The rear camera module design appears slightly repositioned compared to earlier Edge series models, giving it a refreshed look while retaining brand identity.

Colour options are one of the major highlights of the device. The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is expected to launch in three Pantone-curated finishes, including Satin-Luxe, Sculpted Wood, and a Twill-inspired texture. These colours are likely to be offered in shades such as red, brown, and teal, each with a distinct material-inspired finish designed to enhance premium feel and in-hand experience.

The smartphone is confirmed to be sold via Flipkart in India, although the official launch date and pricing details are yet to be announced. The device is expected to bring additional upgrades over the Edge 70 Pro, including improved camera capabilities and enhanced performance features, positioning it as a more premium variant in the lineup.

With its focus on advanced imaging technology, refined design language, and unique colour finishes, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated mid-premium smartphone launches in the Indian market.
