IIE DIGITAL DESK : Barcelona secured their 29th La Liga championship after a commanding 2–0 win over arch-rivals Real Madrid in the second El Clásico of the season, held at Camp Nou on Sunday night. The victory confirmed the title race in favour of the Catalan club with three matches still remaining in the league.

Under manager Hansi Flick, Barcelona delivered a dominant performance in a high-stakes clash. The breakthrough came from Marcus Rashford, who put the home side ahead with a crucial goal, shifting momentum firmly in Barcelona’s favour. Shortly after, Ferran Torres doubled the lead, sealing a comfortable win and effectively ending Real Madrid’s hopes of mounting a late challenge for the title.

This triumph marks Barcelona’s 29th La Liga title, making them the second-most successful club in the history of the competition. It also holds special significance as it is the first time Barcelona have defeated Real Madrid at home in a decisive league encounter of this magnitude in recent seasons.
