New Delhi (August 11,2023) : US singer Mary Millben has once again come out in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the ongoing Manipur issue. In a tweet, Millben said that the mothers, daughters, and women of Manipur will receive justice and that Modi will always fight for their freedom. She also took a jibe at the Opposition, saying that they are "dishonoring cultural legacy, denying children the right to sing the anthem of their country, and degrading one's country abroad."

This is not the first time that Millben has expressed her support for Modi. In July, she thanked the PM for publicly addressing the "inhuman behavior against women" in Manipur. Millben has also been critical of the Opposition, calling them "unprincipled" and "dishonest."

Millben's comments come at a time when the Manipur issue is gaining national attention. In recent months, there have been a number of protests in the state against the alleged atrocities committed by security forces. The Opposition has also been demanding a judicial inquiry into the matter. It remains to be seen how Modi will respond to Millben's comments. However, her support for the PM is likely to be seen as a boost for his government.
