The Congress party celebrated the occasion at various places across the country, with party workers and supporters organising different programmes to mark the day. Several prominent personalities from the political sphere extended their greetings and best wishes to Rahul Gandhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also among those who wished him on his birthday.
Taking to social media platform X on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a message conveying his greetings to Rahul Gandhi. In his post, the Prime Minister wrote, “Birthday greetings to the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji. I pray for his good health and a long life.”
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also conveyed his wishes to Rahul Gandhi through a post on his X handle. He wrote, “Heartiest birthday greetings to the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. I pray to God for your good health and a long life.”
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav also extended his greetings to the Congress leader through a message on X. In his post, he wished Rahul Gandhi a healthy, successful, happy, long, and prosperous life.
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut from the Uddhav Thackeray faction also greeted Rahul Gandhi on his birthday through social media. In his message on X, he wrote, “Happy Birthday Rahul Gandhi Ji! I pray for your good health, happiness, and strength to continue serving the nation. May this year bring success and fulfilment to you.”
The exchange of greetings from leaders across different political parties highlighted a moment of courtesy beyond political differences, as several senior leaders joined in wishing Rahul Gandhi on his special day.
