PM Modi Arrives in Bengaluru to Greet ISRO Scientists

Bengaluru (August 26,2023) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bengaluru on Saturday morning to greet the scientists of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of India's Independence.

Modi was received at the airport by Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and other dignitaries. He then drove to the ISRO headquarters in Peenya, where he interacted with the scientists and congratulated them for their achievements. The Prime Minister also visited the ISRO Space Museum and interacted with students. He later addressed a gathering of scientists and other stakeholders.

In his address, Modi said that the ISRO has made India proud with its many accomplishments. He said that the space agency is playing a key role in India's progress and that it will continue to do so in the years to come. Modi also said that the government is committed to supporting the ISRO in its efforts to achieve even greater heights. The Prime Minister's visit to the ISRO is a significant event as it comes at a time when the space agency is gearing up for its ambitious plans, including the launch of the Chandrayaan-3 mission and the Gaganyaan mission.
