New Delhi (August 29,2023) : A recent survey has found that many graduates are working as food delivery agents. The survey, conducted by the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER), found that 67% of food delivery agents in India are graduates.

The survey also found that the average age of food delivery agents is 25 years old. Most of them are men, and they come from low-income families. The survey attributed the rise in the number of graduates working as food delivery agents to several factors, including the rising unemployment rate, the lack of suitable jobs for graduates, and the attractive pay and flexible working hours offered by food delivery companies.

The survey also found that many graduates are working as food delivery agents as a last resort. They are unable to find jobs in their chosen field and are forced to take up these jobs to make ends meet. The survey findings highlight the challenges faced by graduates in India. The government and the private sector need to work together to create more jobs for graduates and to improve their employability.
