
IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Ranchi, June 6: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Navin arrived in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, on Saturday for a two-day organizational visit. This is his first visit to Jharkhand since assuming charge as the party’s national president and is being regarded as highly significant for the organization. BJP leaders, office-bearers, and a large number of party workers and supporters accorded him a warm welcome at Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi.
After being received at the airport, Nitin Navin visited the statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda and paid floral tributes as a mark of respect. He subsequently paid homage to socialist leader Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur and veteran BJP leader and organization builder Kailashpati Mishra by offering flowers at their statues.
The tribute ceremonies, Nitin Navin reached the BJP state headquarters, where he is scheduled to hold discussions with members of the party’s core committee on various organizational matters. The meeting is expected to focus on expanding the party organization, strengthening its presence at the booth level, membership drives, public outreach programs, and planning future political activities. According to party leaders, a strong organizational structure remains the foundation of electoral success, and special emphasis will be placed on making the party machinery more effective and efficient.
During his two-day visit to Jharkhand, the BJP national president will participate in a series of meetings and discussions. He is expected to interact separately with party Members of Parliament, legislators, elected representatives, and senior workers to assess the current organizational situation and discuss future strategies. Efforts will also be made to engage directly with party workers and prepare them for upcoming political challenges and campaigns.
BJP sources, the visit is expected to play a crucial role in providing new direction to the party organization in the state and energizing workers ahead of future political programs. The leadership is reportedly working on a special strategy to further strengthen the party’s grassroots presence and expand its support base across Jharkhand.
The occasion, Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth said that there was tremendous enthusiasm among party workers over the national president’s visit. He noted that meetings and discussions at various levels would continue over the next two days and would provide fresh momentum to the organization.
Sanjay Seth further stated, “Under the guidance of National President Nitin Navin, the BJP will continue its efforts to strengthen the organization. His advice and directions will play an important role in shaping future action plans. All party workers will follow the path shown by him to expand the party’s reach among the people and strengthen its influence.”
Several senior BJP leaders and functionaries were present at Ranchi Airport to welcome the national president, including state president Aditya Sahu, former Chief Minister Raghubar Das, former Union Minister Arjun Munda, former Chief Minister Champai Soren, Leader of the Opposition Babulal Marandi, Pradeep Verma, Bhanu Pratap Shahi, and many other prominent leaders and party workers.
