American Singer Touches PM Modi's Feet After Singing National Anthem
New Delhi, (June 24, 2023): American singer Mary Millben touched Prime Minister Narendra Modi's feet after singing India's national anthem at a function in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Millben was invited to sing the national anthem at the event, which was organized by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). After she finished singing, she approached Modi and touched his feet.
The gesture was seen as a sign of respect for the prime minister and for India. Millben said that she was honored to be invited to sing the national anthem and that she was grateful for the opportunity to experience Indian culture.
