12 FEET LONG OF KING COBRA RESCUED IN KARNATAKA

IIE Digital Desk: A tremendous 12 feet longed King Cobra had rescued and released into the forests by wildlife Karnataka's Cherrapunji of South India earlier this week. 

Village locals had spotted the cobra crossing on a main road and took to following the refuge in a hedge in the compound of a house. Officials of the Forest Department were alerted soon after a owner of the house spotted the snake. Along with the team, people rushed to the spot and the stopgapped, instructed and local calls on the do's and dont's that should be followed in the order to prevent a casualty involved the snake. Reached the spot and officials were set to worked with swiftly brought the snakes down from the bush with the help of a maced.

The snake were gently bagged and conducted onsite awarenesss programmed for locals with distributed informative materials. Later the snake were released from the wild in the presence of locals and it is charged by the government.
