IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Kolkata, May 8 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Kolkata on Friday morning and immediately visited the revered Dakshineswar Kali Temple, where he offered prayers to Maa Bhavatarini. His visit comes at a politically significant moment following the recent West Bengal political developments, with the BJP reportedly moving ahead in government formation discussions.

Shah landed at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport shortly after 11 am, where he was received by senior leaders of the West Bengal BJP.
