IIE Digital Desk: Vishwakarma Puja is celebrated on 17 September and day holds the great significants for artisans, craftsmen, and engineers be seeked blessings for success and skilled. Performing the puja of devotees, to cleaned their tools and workplaces with decorated flowers and set up an idol. The rituals were included offering to flowers, incense, sweets, and reciting specific mantras dedicated to Vishwakarma. This occasion is been marked by prayers for prosperity, creativity, and innovation in their respective fields.

Mantras of Viswakarma Puja

On this auspicious day, devotees rise early, cleanse themselves, and adorn fresh attire before sunrise. Homes, factories, shops, or any place of worship are meticulously cleaned, with Ganga water often used for purification. Rangolis are crafted, and idols of Lord Vishwakarma are installed in temples. Lighting desi ghee lamps and offering flowers, devotees chant mantras such as "Om Aadhar Shaktpe Namah," "Om Kumayi Namah," and "Om Anantam Namah" with folded hands. 

Rituals of Viswakarma Puja

➤ Rise early and cleanse yourself with a bath.

➤ Wear fresh, clean attire.

➤ Choose a clean and sacred space for the puja, preferably at your workplace or in a dedicated puja area at home.

Cleaning and Purification:

➤ Thoroughly clean the puja area, removing any clutter or dirt.

➤ Use Ganga water or clean water for purification purposes.

➤ Sprinkle water to purify the surroundings.

Rangoli and Decoration:

➤ Create a rangoli design at the entrance or puja area to welcome the divine presence.

➤ Decorate the area with flowers, leaves, and other auspicious items.

Idol Installation:

➤ Install an idol or image of Lord Vishwakarma in the puja area.

➤If unavailable, a picture or symbol representing Lord Vishwakarma can be used.

Lighting the Lamp:

➤ Light a lamp using desi ghee or oil, symbolizing the presence of divine light.

➤ Place the lamp in the puja area, facing the idol of Lord Vishwakarma.

Offering Prayers and Mantras:

➤ Fold your hands in reverence and offer prayers to Lord Vishwakarma, expressing gratitude and seeking blessings.

➤ Chant mantras dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma, such as "Om Aadhar Shaktpe Namah," "Om Kumayi Namah," and "Om Anantam Namah," with devotion and sincerity.

➤ Worship of Tools and Equipment:

Reverently worship the tools, machinery, and equipment associated with your profession or business.

Offer flowers, water, and other sacred items to these tools, seeking divine blessings for their continued efficacy and success in your endeavors.

Distribution of Prasad:

➤ Prepare offerings or prasad, such as sweets or fruits, to be offered to Lord Vishwakarma.
