IIE DIGITAL DESK : Bollywood’s ever-versatile Tamannaah Bhatia is entering a blockbuster year, with a powerhouse portfolio that bridges comedy, mythology, action, emotive drama, and even digital storytelling. Following her high-voltage special song in Raid 2, the actress is now lining up a series of A-list collaborations that promise to break new creative ground—and give her unwavering fans plenty to cheer about .

Tamannaah joins forces with Anees Bazmee in No Entry 2, the eagerly awaited sequel to the iconic 2005 comedy. She’ll star alongside Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh, reportedly stepping into a role analogous to Bipasha Basu’s from the original . Filming is expected to begin mid-2025, aiming for a Diwali release on October 26, 2025 . With a new male cast and her comedic flair, the film could reintroduce the slapstick magic to a modern audience.

Directed by Arunabh & Deepak Kumar Mishra and produced by TVF with Balaji Motion Pictures, Tamannaah enters the supernatural mythology genre alongside Sidharth Malhotra .This folklore thriller is expected to weave ancient lore with contemporary storytelling—giving Tamannaah a rich, dramatic canvas to explore.

Another Telugu-Tamil crossover in her lineup, Ranger, directed by Jagan Shakti (Mission Mangal), teams Tamannaah with action icons Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt. Filming is already underway in scenic locales like Ooty. Described as a high-budget jungle thriller, it promises adrenaline-pumping sequences and an intense narrative, cementing her action credentials.

Tamannaah is set to star opposite John Abraham in Rohit Shetty’s long-gestating biopic of real-life police commissioner Rakesh Maria .She will portray Preeti Maria, a figure of emotional strength behind Maria’s fight against terror. Filming reportedly began in Mumbai on April 18, across 40 locations including CST station and Taj Hotel. With a projected early-2026 release, this marks Shetty’s first true-crime drama, and Tamannaah’s role is touted as pivotal and emotionally resonant.

Not limiting herself to films, Tamannaah is venturing into digital storytelling with Daring Partners, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment . She will lead alongside Diana Penty, Nakuul Mehta, and Jaaved Jaaferi, in a series about two women competing in a male-dominated liquor business—making it her first major web-series with strong female-driven themes.

Industry sources highlight that Tamannaah’s calendar has been “non-stop”, often juggling two projects weekly. She’s intentionally choosing diverse, challenging roles: buddy comedies, folklore thrillers, high-octane action, and emotionally driven biopics—a strong evolution from being item‑number queen to a multi-genre powerhouse.

Her co-stars read like a who’s-who of Bollywood: Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh (No Entry 2); Sidharth Malhotra (Vvan); Ajay Devgn & Sanjay Dutt (Ranger); and John Abraham (Rakesh Maria biopic). Each partnership brings new dynamics and elevates her versatility.

Tamannaah Bhatia is setting a new narrative for her career—transitioning from her existing accolades into experimental, boundary-pushing, content-rich roles across cinema and digital media. No Entry 2 arrives with laughs, Ranger brings action, Vvan dives into mysticism, Rohit Shetty's biopic explores gravitas, and Daring Partners empowers on-screen narratives. Through 2025 and beyond, she looks poised to assert herself not just as a star, but a sustained creative force in Indian entertainment.
