IIE DIGITAL: Actor Rashmika Mandanna has shared an update on the injury she sustained while filming her upcoming movie Mysaa, revealing that a tendon in her right hip was detached during an intense dance sequence.

Taking to Instagram, the actor said the incident marked her third consecutive injury, prompting her to rethink the demanding pace of her work. Reflecting on the setback, Rashmika admitted she had been pushing herself too hard and realised she needed to treat her body with greater care instead of constantly working through physical strain.

Explaining the injury, she said one of the four tendons connecting her right hip to her leg had come off during the shoot, making even basic movements like lifting her leg difficult. Calling Mysaa the most physically demanding project of her career, she described the accident as unexpected but said it could have been far worse.

Despite the setback, Rashmika assured fans that her recovery is progressing steadily. While the injury remains painful, she said it is manageable and joked that the enforced break might be nature's way of making her rest when she otherwise wouldn't have.

Unable to follow her usual fitness routine, the actor said she has been spending her recovery period solving puzzles and trying to resist her love for desserts, adding a touch of humour to an otherwise difficult phase.

Reports earlier suggested that doctors had advised Rashmika to take six weeks off from work along with a structured rehabilitation programme before returning to film sets.
