In a recent interview, she spoke openly about her father Mahesh Bhatt and his wife Soni Razdan, sharing intimate details about their past and family dynamics.

Pooja Bhatt revealed that after Mahesh Bhatt’s first marriage ended, Soni Razdan carried a deep sense of regret over the situation. Referring to an old conversation, Pooja said that Soni once told her she felt very bad about how events unfolded at that time. The actress-producer also reflected on the emotional complexity of relationships within her family.

She further shared that she once told Soni Razdan that a relationship does not break unless it is already weak from within. According to Pooja, if a bond is truly strong, no third person can enter and break it. Her statement highlighted her perspective on trust, emotional strength, and relationships.

The same interview, Pooja also revealed that she learned about her father Mahesh Bhatt’s relationship with Soni Razdan before her mother officially knew. She recalled that one night, Mahesh Bhatt himself told her directly that he had found someone else in his life, but assured her that his love for his daughter would never change.

Pooja said that hearing the truth directly from her father was easier for her than discovering it through gossip magazines or media reports. She admitted that her mother went through a period of deep emotional pain after learning about the situation, although the family eventually maintained mutual respect among its members.

Mahesh Bhatt’s first wife was Kiran Bhatt, with whom he has two children, Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt. Later, he married actress Soni Razdan, and they have two daughters together, Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt.
