From Film Sets to Movie Screens: Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas Catch Up With Mahesh Babu
IIE DIGITAL: Priyanka Chopra is balancing work and family time during the Hyderabad schedule of SS Rajamouli's much-awaited film Varanasi. The actress, who arrived in the city a few days ago with husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie, took a break from filming on Wednesday to enjoy a movie night with her co-star Mahesh Babu.
A picture from the outing has gone viral on social media, showing Priyanka, Nick and Mahesh Babu posing together at Hyderabad's AMB Cinemas, the multiplex co-owned by the Telugu superstar. While the trio featured in the photo, paparazzi videos from the venue also captured Malti Marie and Mahesh Babu's son, Gautam Ghattamaneni, accompanying the group.
Shared by AMB Cinemas on Instagram, the photo showed Priyanka looking elegant in a breezy white maxi dress, while Nick Jonas opted for a white shirt paired with black shorts and sneakers. Mahesh Babu kept his look simple in an all-black outfit.

The Hyderabad schedule marks another important phase of Varanasi, which stars Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra in the lead. According to director SS Rajamouli, most of the film has already been completed, with only a few connecting sequences left to shoot. The team is aiming to wrap production by September or October, ahead of the film's planned worldwide theatrical release on April 7, 2027.
After completing Varanasi, Priyanka Chopra is expected to begin work on the survival thriller Reset, where she will star opposite Orlando Bloom under the direction of Matt Smukler.
