IIE Digital Desk: After a registration ceremony in Mumbai, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare held a 'white wedding' in Udaipur on January 10, which was attended by their family and close friends.

The wedding ceremony was officiated by actress Zayn Marie Khan.

As she pronounced Ira and Nupur 'man and wife,' the couple was seen exchanging their wedding rings and sealing the deal with a kiss.

In a heartwarming turn of events, the bride's father, Aamir Khan, was seen tearing up during his daughter's wedding festivities, which has now left the internet emotional.

For her white wedding, Ira was a vision in a white gown featuring intricate embroidery. With semi-sheer details and a straight-fit style, the gorgeous ensemble reflected her unconventional, minimalistic approach to fashion. The look was further complemented by a nude-toned makeup palette, including mascara-laden eyes, lightly blushed cheeks and nude lips.

On the other hand, Nupur made for a handsome groom in a beige three-piece suit.

Throughout Ira Khan's wedding, Aamir Khan has been displaying a whole range of emotions, and it has been an absolute delight to witness. Performing all the duties of a devoted father, Aamir was earlier seen singing a song at his daughter's Sangeet night. Mr. Perfectionist was joined by his youngest son, Azad, who dedicated the song 'Ek Hazaaro Me Meri Behna Hai' to his newlywed sister. Aamir, too, was seen adding his voice, which turned the entire event into a rollercoaster of emotional joy ride.

From the bride's simplistic wedding outfit to the groom dancing on his baraat in gym attire, the couple's wedding made headlines for a score of reasons. As per reports, they will hold a star-studded reception for their celebrity friends in Mumbai on January 13.

For the uninitiated, Ira Khan is the daughter of Aamir Khan and his first wife, Reena Dutta. She is the founder and CEO of the Agatsu Foundation, an organisation dedicated to mental health support. Nupur Shikhare, meanwhile, is a renowned fitness coach.
