Howrah’s Suchismita Chakraborty Secures Expected 10th Rank in West Bengal Madhyamik Merit List with 688 Marks

IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Howrah, May 8 : West Bengal’s Madhyamik examination results brought fresh academic pride to Howrah district as Suchismita Chakraborty, a student of Deulpur High School, secured the expected 10th position in the state merit list with an impressive score of 688 out of 700.

Following the announcement by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, celebrations erupted at her school and home as news of her achievement spread. Suchismita’s performance stood out for its consistency across subjects, reflecting both academic discipline and strong preparation.

Suchismita achieved a perfect 100 in History. She scored 99 each in Physical Science, Life Science, and Geography, while securing 98 in both Bengali and Mathematics. In English, she scored 95, completing a near-flawless academic record that placed her among the top rank holders in the state.

Speaking to the media after the results were declared, she expressed happiness and surprise at her ranking. She said that while she had expected good marks, she had not anticipated securing a place in the state merit list. She described the moment as deeply satisfying and emotionally overwhelming.

Suchismita shared her academic aspirations, stating that she plans to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination in the future. She added that she is already preparing with a focused mindset to pursue higher academic goals in science and engineering.

Her success has been widely celebrated at Deulpur High School, where teachers and staff expressed pride in her achievement. According to her physics teacher Atri Golui, Suchismita has always been a focused and hardworking student with a consistent academic record.

School authorities noted that her dedication and disciplined study habits were key factors behind her success. Teachers also expressed confidence that she would continue to excel in future competitive examinations and bring further recognition to both her school and district.
