Two Killed in Howrah Road Accident
Howrah (August 11,2023) : Two people were killed and two others were injured in a road accident in Howrah's Domjur on Friday. The accident took place when a speeding truck collided head-on with a motorcycle. The two people on the motorcycle, identified as Akash Mondal and Sourav Sarkar, were killed on the spot. The two injured people were taken to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. The truck driver fled the scene after the accident. Police are trying to track him down.
The accident has caused a traffic jam in the area. Police have urged motorists to be cautious and to follow traffic rules. This is the second road accident in Howrah in the last two days. On Thursday, a woman was killed and two others were injured when a car hit a motorcycle in Howrah's Shyambazar.
