Nursing Student's Mysterious Death in Raiganj
Raiganj (August 26,2023) : A 21-year-old nursing student was found hanging from the ceiling of her room in Raiganj, North Bengal, on Thursday. The police have not ruled out foul play. The victim, identified as Sajni Sarkar, was a second-year student at a private nursing college in Raiganj. She was found hanging from the ceiling of her room in a hostel on Thursday morning.
The police were informed about the incident and they rushed to the spot. They recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. The police said that prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide. However, they are not ruling out foul play and have started an investigation.
Sajni's family members have alleged that she was murdered. They said that she was in a happy state of mind and there was no reason for her to commit suicide. The police are questioning Sajni's friends and family members to get more information about the incident. They are also checking her mobile phone records to see if she had any contact with anyone who could have been involved in her death. The case has been registered as a case of unnatural death and the police are further investigating.
